“Camp was special. We touched the lives of the children and families that participated with us. We shared how special each one is in God’s eyes with gifts and talents to be shared and appreciated. We learned that many athletes remember who has blessed them with special talents, give thanks, and often forgo “going for the gold” to do what is needed at the moment to help another.” Here are some lovely photos to remember “Go For The Gold” Kids Camp 2024 at The Episcopal Church in Almaden!
What a Fun Experience for teachers and kids alike! How do you know if what you did went well? Look at the family’s faces. Look at the parent’s smiles. Look at the excited kids showing off their creations. Look at the amazing art work that was displayed around our fellowship hall and choir room. Feel the energy around the room as the program came to life. Yes, the church was opened up as an “art studio” of music, art, and spirituality. We felt God’s blessings upon all of it. There was a play, created by Susie Ferguson, which contained much humor but also much heartfelt appreciation for Shelley's seven and one-half years at ECA….
